Ministries and Commissions

Liturgical Ministries

Our worship as the people of God, Body of Christ, calls forth many talents and resources from the Parish family. Parish members serve as:

Users ~Greeters ~ Lectors ~ Commentators ~ Eucharistic Ministers ~ Altar Servers ~ Singers ~ Musicians

At least once a year there are sessions on ministry formation offered. These are required for new ministers; Commissioned ministers participate in these occasional meetings for review, evaluation, and skill formation. New faces are always welcomed!

Altar Rosary Society

The primary purpose of this society is to the Glory of God in the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  New members are welcome.

This society meets on the third Monday of each month from August-October.  The society sponsors a spring salad luncheon each spring.

Parish Music Ministry

The purpose of the music ministry is to lead God's people in praise and worship during the Mass and other liturgies. Members join together for practice weekly, on Wednesdays from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Church. The only requirement is to be willing to sing and learn new musical pieces. Those willing to sing, as well as others who play an instrument are invited to join in this ministry. For more information, please contact the Parish Center.

Homebound Ministry

When members of our Parish can't come to Church on a regular basis, whether because of temporary or long-term illness, members of this group take the Body of Christ to their fellow Parish Family members.

A.I.M. Albion Interfaith Ministry

This is a group of concerned Christians who manage a clothing bank and thrift shop. In addition to clothing, A.I.M. assists with rental deposits, utilities and medications. Two members of the board of directors oversee the thrift shop. Vouchers are provided by churches and social services to those in need. Volunteers and donations are always welcomed. Teh food bank is sponsored by the Salvation Army, with divisional headquarters in Grand Rapids, with additional support from churches, organizations, and individuals.
